Today I decided to have a little fun and try something new. I have always seen these photo collage pictures and thought they were so interesting. Different views of the same object to combine and create a similar picture to reality. These are my first attempts...very simple, but I had fun doing it and will hopefully do it again sometime soon.

I just got my new baby (my Canon 5D Mark II) and got to go try it out for the first time. I love it! A few of my friends and I went out to some local orange groves and took some pictures just for fun and I really like how some of the pictures turned out...so I will share a few with you.

I am blessed with amazing friends in my life, and these pictures are of two of the best. They were great models and we had a wonderful afternoon filled with coffee, dancing and laughs...who could ask for anything more. Thanks again for putting up with my camera and me. I hope there will be more adventures of Loon, Puc and Weever soon.

Anything can be fun if you are with the right people...even picking someone up from a busy airport. Kory, I am so glad you came to visit and I hope it happens again soon!

This is my first venture into the blogging world, so...bare with me and let's see how it goes.

I believe in the quote, 'If it's meant to be, it will be.' I finished my academic career this past year and since then have been trying to figure out what I truly want to do with my life. Just when I was starting to become discouraged with my future I received a phone call from my high school volleyball coach, who is an amazing photographer (JamesChristianson.net -- Check it out if you haven't). He offered me an internship in photography and I of course was ecstatic. Since that day I have been trying to get things together before beginning the internship...so...here is my first step of sharing my view of the world through my lens. I hope that my journey will be as interesting to you as it is and hopefully will continue to be for me.
