People always say that the bride is beautiful on her wedding day, well...Lyns was absolutely no exception. I have never seen you look so radiant and excited Lyns and I cannot explain to you how happy that I was able to be there for you. So, here are just a couple pictures of Lyns getting ready...unfortunately I wasn't really able to get pictures from the ceremony. That might have been a bit odd to take pictures while standing up in front...

It's becoming more and more evident that I am getting older and one big clue is that my friends are beginning to get married right and left. One of my best friends that I have known since high school got married on July 12th and I was lucky enough to be a part of their special day. Here are a few pictures from our little bachelorette party. Lyns, I love you so much and I am SOOO happy for you...well about 90/10 happy to jealous...maybe 80/20. lol...just kidding. You're the best granddaughter I could ask for.

You would think I was living in the Northwest by the weather we have been enjoying here. CRAZY thunderstorms every afternoon opening the heavens and letting water just pour out accompanied by booming thunder and streaks of lightning. Luckily for me I like the rain. Here are just a few pictures from my apartment building while we were experience the downpour for the day.

It has been a crazy week here in Colorado. We have had tornado and severe thunderstorm watches, and yet its really been pretty nice. Everyone keeps telling me that this is strange weather for the this time of year, but I don't mind it only being like 70° in the middle of June. Also, my roomie claims that it never rains in Colorado...but it has basically rained everyday for the past week. So, today I walked out of work to a lovely temperature of nearly 75°, sunny skies...and pouring rain...needless to say it was a bit confusing, but inspiring. Hope you enjoy my pictures of the strange weather this afternoon.

I had the day off today, so I decided to take EVERY camera I own out on a little adventure. That adventure ended up with me sitting on a rock along side the Boulder Creek reading and thinking for a few hours. It was perfect and relaxing. Hopefully the rest of the weekend will be as wonderful as today and I will get a few more pictures to share...
